How to Play

Vexling offers a variety of daily puzzles. Here's how each one works.

• Crossword

  Fill in the grid using across and down clues. Available in mini, midi, and maxi sizes.

• Sudoku

  Fill every row, column, and box with unique numbers. Choose from multiple grid sizes and difficulties.

• Word Guess

  Guess the hidden 5-letter word in 6 tries. Use color-coded feedback to narrow it down.

• Word Groups

  Find four groups of four words that share a hidden connection. You have 4 mistakes to spare.

• Countries

  Identify a country through 4 stages: shape, capital, neighbors, and flag. Earn up to 8 stars.

• Chronology

  Arrange 6 historical events in chronological order. The fewer guesses, the better.

• Paths

  Build a path between two countries by naming bordering countries. Stay on the optimal route for the best score.

• Art

  Identify 4 paintings across 4 rounds: chronological order, artists, titles, and art movements.

• Chess

  Find the correct move sequence in a chess position. Three puzzles daily: easy, medium, and hard.
